Guardian's rise is an animated, family-themed version of the Avenger. Superman the people in these two films, a team together to defeat the evil threat (a dashing British accent), before they can destroy the world. However, instead of super-heroes, only some of the audience familiar with the guardian team by mythical figures such as Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny and the Sandman.
Director Peter Ramsey, written by David Lindsay - Abaire and co-produced by Guillermo del Toro, the rise of the Guardian is full of surprises and excitement. The mythology of these characters to build our prejudices, to create an imaginative world, both gorgeous screen and a wealth of possibilities. If any, the movie's the biggest difference, and it is so dead set audience excited fragments through a well-designed set of actions, it will eventually lose a little steam and resonance. Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin), Tooth Fairy (Island Fisher), the Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman) and Sandman guardian, they are not the protagonist. Jack Frost (Chris Pine), start the movie as a newborn mythical creatures, to create ice, wind and snow desperate to find his purpose. He gave this opportunity guardian when he recruited to help defeat the dark (Jude Law), the purpose of the character is to combat fear in the hearts of the children. The same child's guardian, is responsible for protection.
Even in conflict, the movie is paced like a high-speed locomotive. The simple exposition scenes are told that burst with sweeping camera movement and a lot of 3D animation framework. Each character is given a very distinctive character, the audience is very easy to pick out, and relate to the Guardian favorite.
Although the majority of the rise of the guardian is filled with a high-speed flying over the roof of a huge, epic battle, this is not the best thing. Movie praiseworthy these long-standing character is based on our previous knowledge, the establishment of the movie world. We all know that the teeth and tooth fairy money left, but you know the tooth containing our memory? Of course, Santa build toys at the North Pole, but do you know about his army? Easter Bunny and eggs, but how he painted them? Enrich our preconceived notions of the movie in every round, these characters can do, to make them more interesting.
Frost, with no real canonoized background story, this is the one character. He is an enigma, unable to determine his position, he is desperate to pay attention to him. In this regard, the guardian has been established character defects, may be bad, but very powerful as a hobby as well. His character arc is so fantastic real emotional foundation, the heart of the movie.
Even with the beating of the heart, the guardian is filled with so much kinetic energy and momentum, it can be depleted. When it reaches the climactic battle, encountered do not think that is more exciting than the previous few scenes. It is still interesting - especially when the movie's message is wrapped into it - but the the pacing overall effect is unfavorable.
There any personal connection into a piece of the danger of these characters, the film does not really help you. If you never believe in Santa Claus or the tooth fairy as a child, you do not particularly care. However, if you do believe that, at any time, the guardian of the rise is an action-packed through your childhood, and then return.
